Arsenal Ladies Club Associates

Following a successful pilot last season Arsenal Ladies have now developed and expanded the Club Associate programme to work with 16 clubs across 3 levels of association with the core aim of driving forward the growth of the female game across all levels.

The club associate programme was designed to help engage, train and retain girls within football by supporting grassroots clubs to deliver engaging sessions which will challenge and develop female players.

Club associates represent the first step on the player pathway and the club associates are carefully selected based on how they intend to support the girls with reaching their potential.

Red Associates – Herts Girls Fc, Hemel Hempstead, Evergreen FC, Stevenage Borough, London Colney Colts

Silver Associates – Harvesters FC, Harpenden Colts

Platinum Associates – Kinja FC, Thame Football Partnership, ICA, St Albans City Youth, Bedwell Rangers, Flitwick Eagles, Enfield Town Ladies, Garston Ladies, Colebrook Royals

Ciara Allan, Arsenal Ladies development officer commented “There are lots of clubs who are offering female football and doing a fantastic job. This programme gives us the opportunity to share our knowledge of the game and player development to help our local clubs provide the best possible support to their players as they progress through their football careers. We are excited to start the programme and feel that the 16 clubs we have recruited this season are in the best position to have a positive impact on girls and women’s football in the local catchment areas.”
