Team Celebrations

Now that the London 2012 Olympics are over, Arsenal Ladies return back to Super League action this Sunday with an away encounter at Marine FC against Everton Ladies, kick off 2pm.

With media coverage elevating the profile of women's game, all eyes will be on the FA WSL to maintain the momentum post-Olympics and ensure fans keep following the players that have inspired the nation.

Families will be able to enjoy the unique Super League experience in a fun, affordable way, and many fans will have the opportunity to meet their football heroes post-match for autographs and pictures.

Arsenal currently sit top of the table, eight points clear of the chasing pack of Birmingham Ladies, Bristol Academy, Everton and Chelsea with seven games gone.

The team then travel to the Keepmoat Stadium to face Doncaster Rovers Belles on Saturday, August 25, kick off 6pm, to be played after the Doncaster Rovers v Crawley game in League One.

Arsenal Ladies are at home just five days later against Bristol Academy on Thursday, August 30, kick off 7.45pm. This match will be preceded by a FREE girls football festival for young players aged from seven to 12 years old.

The festival is a free programme aimed at encouraging girls to participate in football, playing in 5v5 mini matches. Both local teams and individual players are welcome and all players will receive FREE tickets to the match afterwards.

The start of September sees the return of the Continental Cup, where Arsenal have been drawn away to Bristol Academy in the semi finals on September 3, kick off 7.30pm. Birmingham and Lincoln contest the other semi-final, but as current holders Arsenal will be hoping they can book their place in the final.
